Q. Can Anodised Aluminium tags and labels be printed in Full Colour?
Yes we can digitally print full colour on Anodised Aluminium.
Q. If our logo comprises certain Pantone (PMS) colours, can you print those colours?
Yes, we can screen print Pantone colours.
Q. Can white ink be printed on Anodised Aluminium?
Yes, we can print white, but it is not recommended. All colours other than white are embedded into the anodic layer, which protects the print from scratching. White ink is printed to the surface of the metal, and is therefore prone to scratching.
Q. Can tags and labels be chemically etched and paint filled as required in certain industries?
Yes, we can chemically etch and paint fill our tags and labels. An example of this is fire door and frame tags.
Q. Do you have standard sizes that we can choose from?
Most of our jobs are laser cut to whatever size & shape that you require. This includes rounded corners and holes.
Q. Are tags and labels supplied for easy installation?
If required, our tags and labels can be supplied with either an industrial adhesive backing, or holes for screws or rivets, or both adhesive and holes.
Q. Is Anodised Aluminium available in different thicknesses (gauges)?
Yes, the gauges that we work with are: 0.2mm, 0.3mm, 0.5mm, 0.6mm, 0.7mm, 0.8mm, 0.9mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.6mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm.
Q. Are Anodised Aluminium tags and labels resistant to external elements.
All of our Anodised Aluminium tags and labels are water, weather and scratch resistant. However, only black print is totally UV safe. All other colours will fade over time with exposure to the sun.
Q. If I have more than 1 kind of artwork, can different kinds be printed at the same time?
Yes, we will take your artwork files and combine them in a layout suitable for printing a number of different kinds at the same time.
Q. How long will it take to manufacture tags or labels in Anodised Aluminium?
Standard turnaround for Anodised Aluminium jobs is 11-13 working days.
