The Print Facility (TPF) offers the most comprehensive and flexible Blu-ray printing, duplicating, replicating, and packaging services in Australia with fast turnaround times and competitive pricing.
Blu-ray Disc, often known simply as Blu-ray, is a digital optical disc data storage format designed to supersede the DVD format, capable of storing several hours of video in high-definition. The name "Blu-ray" refers to the blue laser used to read the disc, which allows information to be stored at a greater density than is possible with the longer- wavelength red laser used for DVDs.
Storage size: a Blu-ray disc provides 5 times more storage space compared to a DVD.
Video Quality: the video resolution of Blu-ray is double that of a DVD.
Durability: Blu-ray discs have a hard, protective coating to protect your data from scratches.
Copy Protection: 128Bit AACS encryption vs. DVD’s 40Bit CSS Encryption.
Speedy Navigation and access to content.
Whether it's one disc or thousands, our highly skilled team can assist with all aspects of your Blu-ray requirements; from manufacturing to authoring and designing the master, encoding, printing, duplicating, replicating, packaging, distribution and fulfilment services.
Blu-Ray Replication is a more involved manufacturing process. A glass master is created from your master disc. A metal stamper is grown from the glass master. The metal stamper imparts the data into the polycarbonate disc as it is injection moulded. This is the manufacturing method generally used to manufacture retail music and gaming DVDs and is a reliable and economical method of manufacturing mass volumes. The costs of producing the glass master and metal stamper make the replication manufacturing process more suited to production runs larger than 500 units. We can produce BD single layer (25GB) or BD dual-layer (50GB).
Turnaround time for replicating Blu-Ray is approximately 3 weeks.
