Our Resin Domed Labels are printed on high quality Vinyl or Polyester. The resin dome is ultra clear, with a glossy finish and can be used on products indoors, as well as for outdoor use. Resin Dome Labels are often used for branding on vehicle and boats and are UV safe as well as water and weather resistant.

Q. What are Resin Domed Labels?
Resin domed labels, also called lensed labels or resin badges, are extremely durable, UV safe, water, weather, scratch and chemical resistant labels, that are suited for both indoor and outdoor use. They have a clear Polyurethane resin dome or lens covering, which creates a premium 3D look. These labels can be used to create a strong brand presence for your company. They have an industrial strength adhesive backing, and can be found on white goods, electrical goods, automotive products, motor cars, boats and outdoor furniture, as well as many other products.
Q. How are Resin Dome Labels manufactured? Labels are printed, usually in full colour, on either a White or Clear Vinyl or Polyester, both with a strong permanent industrial adhesive backing. Printing is on roll format or wide format machines. Printed labels are then cut to their required shape on the rolls or in wide format layout. All excess material between each label is then removed. The labels are then cut down to sheets. The sheet size depends on the size of the resin dispensing machine. The labels are now ready for the resin process. Resin is then pumped into a dispensing machine. This machine has dispensing needles which can be configured to the individual sheet layout. A sheet of labels is then put under the needles and the machine positions the needles as required. When ready, the needles eject clear liquid Polyurethane onto the labels. The resin spreads out until it meets the edge of the label. Surface tension keeps the resin from running off the label while it conforms to the label shape. The resin starts hardening almost immediately. This process is repeated for each sheet of labels. Each completed sheet is stacked on trays to cure. The labels cure overnight and are then ready for use.
Q. If I require a batch of labels with different descriptions, how is this achieved? We would require you to supply all the detail in an Excel spreadsheet, and then our print software uses that spreadsheet to setup your labels with different information on each label.
Q. If I have more than 1 kind of artwork, can different kinds be printed at the same time? Yes, we will take your artwork files and combine them in a layout suitable for printing a number of different kinds at the same time.
